Third Azuday, Month of Rippling
The mage said I won't be able to leave the cabin premises. I agreed, but feeling it—truly feeling it—is something else entirely. Fine... It's the cost of the deal.
But sitting here, waiting around for fools to challenge me, just fuels my bloodthirst...
Writing this is pointless. My skills rust with every wasted second. Better to train. Better to cut. This deal will not tame me.
Fourth Azuday, Month of Zamra
How many have fallen by my hand now? I've lost count.
Their bodies vanish too quickly to recall.
Yesterday was pathetic. No helmet, no defense—just what did he expect? His skull cracked like dry wood right on impact. Disgusting...such weakness sickens me.
Still, I can't leave this cursed cabin. The deal binds me here, and I wonder if it was even worth it.
First Barroday, Month of Nui
Something in me is breaking—crumbling, piece by piece. How many have I killed? Does it even matter? I'm bound by the knot of the Month of Freezing, and I can't escape. Soon, I won't even know why I'm here.
Second Miriday, Month of Zamra
The last one... What was his name? I reached for my pen to write it down, but it was long gone...like everything else I'm forgetting. He was amusing, though. The look on his face when my blade pierced his heart was priceless.
Peladay, Month of Harvesting...?
I stared at my reflection in my blade today. Is that me? I can't tell anymore. I don't even remember the date. Food...time...all mean nothing. Days and nights blur together into nothing.
But I don't care. As long as I stay here, in this cabin, I can fight. And fight...and fight...
