Letter to Mother

Mother,

Life with the Shadowhawk Syndicate is pure insanity.

They told me to pounce on a bison like a wolf...and guess what? The horns won out today, right in the gut. Oh I swear it still hurts like hell...

Even if I tell the others, they'll say that I'm fine and dandy since I wasn't pierced through.

Every dawn is just a medley of horn blasts, arrow fetching, blood wiping...even for arrows I didn't shoot myself!

I should've joined the Bluesalt Brotherhood and stuck with farming. Should've listened to you...

Turns out the members here aren't so capital after all...stinking of sweat and blood.

Is that uncle with the Bluesalt Brotherhood still hiring?

... Just curious.

With love, your youngest
