Phlegthon Isle

An island set within Phlegthon Lake.

During the height of South Aust's prosperity, it was built at the Gyldenlord's behest as a hedonistic retreat for nobility.

However, with the fall of South Aust, the island was abandoned, and its structures fell into ruin.

For a time, many were drawn to Phlegthon Isle, chasing legends of gold left behind by the Gyldenlord and his court. Yet the crimson mist surrounding the island often brought misfortune upon those who drew near.

In time, even explorers began to avoid the place altogether.

Recently, rumors have spread that a massive black object once found among the ruins has suddenly vanished.

Since then, a series of strange and unsettling incidents have occurred throughout Phlegthon Lake, and the island itself has become taboo.
