Torn Letter

To my dear Shirley,

We did it! My hands are still shaking—whether it be excitement or relief...or both. The names Eldrin, Morvane, and Velice will go down in history from this day forth.

Skarn is awake.

It's not just a dead body, nor is it a mindless beast. It listens, waits, and follows orders. This is what we wanted, what we hoped for! The dead are no longer useless husks. They can now serve a purpose.

However, the Dobavions are after it.

I knew they couldn't be trusted. Seems they no longer deem us useful. They'll take Skarn unless we do something.

We're going to get Skarn out of here.

We have to move before they do. You'll help us, right? We need a place to stay—and someone we can trust.
