There are two Drifted Fishing Rods in ArcheAge Chronicles: the first floats in the water off Seaglass Beach in Diamond Shores, the second lies at the Bloodfog Ruins near the Ferrous Ravine. Each belongs to a Wandering Fisher who stands close by. Bring the rod back to him and you get 200 gold and 200 EXP each (as of Early Access, November 2026).
Overview: two rods, two fishers

- 1 – off Seaglass Beach: in the water between Seaglass Beach and the Sunken Ruins. Show on the world map
- 2 – at the Bloodfog Ruins: on the shore of the Bloodfog Ruins near the Ferrous Ravine in southwestern Diamond Shores. Show on the world map
Rod 1: off Seaglass Beach
The first rod floats in the water northwest of Seaglass Beach, about 75 meters from the beach towards the Sunken Ruins. Jump into the water from the beach and swim a short way northwest. Its Wandering Fisher stands right on the beach at Seaglass Beach – so the way back is short.

The game says: take the Drifted Fishing Rod to the Wandering Fisher at Seaglass Beach and something good may come of it. The search belongs to the fisher’s hidden quest “A Rod Adrift”, the hand-in to “Back in the Fisherman’s Hands”.
Rod 2: at the Bloodfog Ruins
The second rod lies in southwestern Diamond Shores by the water of the Bloodfog Ruins, near the Ferrous Ravine. You barely have to search here: the second Wandering Fisher stands just over 20 meters away. The nearest Nui statue is the one at the Ferrous Ravine (about 75 meters).

This Drifted Fishing Rod goes back to the Wandering Fisher in the Ferrous Ravine. It belongs to the hidden quests “Ferrous Ravine Fishing Rod” and “Back to the Fisherman’s Hands”.
Easy to mix up: there are three Wandering Fishers – at Seaglass Beach, at the Bloodfog Ruins and at Lake Carnas. Each rod belongs to the fisher near it. The Wandering Fisher at Lake Carnas is not looking for a Drifted Fishing Rod but for his Fishing Rod on a Tree: it is stuck in a tree about 65 meters away from him. Show on the world map
What do you get for the rod?
Each return completes a hidden quest and grants 200 gold and 200 EXP. The rods’ description itself only promises that something good may come of it.
| Rod | Fisher | Hidden quests | Reward |
|---|---|---|---|
| Drifted Fishing Rod (off Seaglass Beach) | Wandering Fisher at Seaglass Beach | A Rod Adrift, Back in the Fisherman’s Hands | 200 gold, 200 EXP |

Tip: The rod off Seaglass Beach lies in the same bay as the Glider No.7 Wreckage – you grab both in one short swim. The Throne of Hinnon Dungeon Key, on the other hand, is in the Seaglass Tower in Early Access.
