In ArcheAge Chronicles, the Throne of Hinnon Dungeon Key is in a “Key Pouch” in the Seaglass Tower in Diamond Shores – only about 30 meters from Ironfang Golgius, whom you defeat there in the main story. The key opens the gate to the Throne of Hinnon dungeon by the Altar of Seals. Next to the Old Temple, it is one of two dungeons in Diamond Shores, the starting region of Early Access (as of November 2026).
Watch out, new location: The Key Pouch used to sit on top of the Sunken Ruins in the bay off Seaglass Beach. In Early Access it is no longer there – the key now lies in the Seaglass Tower.
Overview: key, quest giver and dungeon
Everything you need is close together in Diamond Shores:
- Key Pouch: in the Seaglass Tower, about 30 meters from Ironfang Golgius. Show on the world map
- Throne of Hinnon: the dungeon entrance east of the Altar of Seals. Show on the world map
- Lumina: the young archaeologist at the Guard Campsite who continues the key story – less than 100 meters from the Key Pouch.
- Ironfang Golgius: the boss in the Seaglass Tower, right next to the Key Pouch.

How to get the Dungeon Key
The Key Pouch is in the Seaglass Tower northeast of the Guard Campsite, only about 30 meters from where Ironfang Golgius stands. The main story takes you there anyway: after the fight against Golgius, grab the pouch right away. The nearest Nui statue is the one at the Guard Campsite (about 90 meters), the Seaglass Workshop statue is a little over 110 meters away.
The pouch holds the Throne of Hinnon Dungeon Key – exactly one, at 100 percent. About 15 meters away stands one of the Raeven’s Coilstones of Diamond Shores, too.
The key in the main story
The dungeon is part of the Diamond Shores main story. In story order, three quests lead there:
- A Dark Summoning (quest 10 of 185): in the Seaglass Tower you summon Ironfang Golgius with a binding stone.
- Words of Warning (quest 11): after the fight, the story continues with the key from the Key Pouch.
- The Key to the Forgotten Throne (quest 12): talk to Lumina at the Guard Campsite. The quest requires the Dungeon Key and then sends you to the Throne of Hinnon.
If you are missing the key, pick it up at the Key Pouch in the Seaglass Tower. Every story quest with a checkbox is listed in the main story.
Where is the Throne of Hinnon entrance?
The entrance is east of the Altar of Seals in the northeast of Diamond Shores, inland southeast of the bay with the Sunken Ruins. The nearest Nui statue stands at the Altar of Seals (about 150 meters). With the key in your inventory, you open the gate there.

What awaits you in the dungeon
