1. Nicholas: You're back! How was he doing?
   • He was out of his mind. He swallowed something dangerous to avenge his loss.
2. Nicholas: Something dangerous?

4. Nicholas: He had something like this inside his body? He must have craved power beyond reason...
5. Nicholas: Would you consider entrusting the fragment to me?
6. Nicholas: It could become a major breakthrough in gnoll ecology research.
   • Is it that important?
7. Nicholas: Of course it is!
8. Nicholas: Listen. The gnoll that absorbed the Black Iron's power went berserk. Between the intense stimulation and being trapped in that confined space...there's no telling what kind of biological response it triggered.
